About Us

Our story began in 2020 when my son was born in the middle of the pandemic. Stuck at home with very little to do and not many places to go, our family started to crave the social and emotional connections we used to have with our family and friends. We began finding creative ways to make our own fun, dancing around our living room, learning the alphabet and practicing counting as high as we could along with some of our favorite songs. Little by little we started inviting our friends and neighbors to join in on our weekly "dance parties" and the response was overwhelming.

There was such a huge need for programs for young children in our area, and many families were concerned about the loss of education during the school shut down. I decided to run with my idea and create something of my own to fill the gap.

Kiddy Kids Prep was officially launched in July of 2020, and we began offering classes that incorporate music and movement, and early childhood education to young children in the Wendell, North Carolina area. Coming from an Elementary Education background, my passion has always been to combine my love of music with my mission of instilling a lifelong love of learning in every child I meet.

Each of our classes focuses on a theme, and a fun "Dance Party" atmosphere that incorporates many foundational literacy, and mathematics skills to prepare students for academic success.
